For Father's Day I surprised Thomas and the kids with a trip to the Legoland Discovery Center the Saturday before Father's Day.

Pony Party
Cousin Elizabeth had a Pony Party for her 8th birthday. It was a lot of fun. They had ponies for the little ones to ride, a horse for the older kids to ride, a pony cart and more. Ben and Natalie braved riding, but Johnny wasn't too sure about it. However, Ben did get Johnny to ride on the cart with him. Everyone had a GREAT time. Thank you Elizabeth for such a fun day and HAPPY, HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!

Batter Up!
Ben's Baseball Team - The Rangers
Ben is really enjoying playing baseball this summer. He is on a great team. All the kids seem to get along and it is a great bunch of parents too (no crazy parents who are a little too fanatical about everything, we've seen a number of those from other teams during the games - it's a little scary). It has really been a wonderful experience for the entire family. Thomas has been helping with the coaching - which Ben loves and the entire family usually attends all the practices and games. I am so impressed with Johnny and Natalie. They have been such good sports about all of this, especially when it is over 100 degrees outside.

Ben's Last Day of 2nd Grade
Ben the morning of his last day of 2nd grade. It is hard to believe that another school year has come and gone.
This is a picture of Johnny waiting in the car pool line to pick up Ben after school. I got the camera ready, then told him that this was the last time he was going to have to wait in the car pool line to pick up Ben - because next year Natalie and I would be picking him up from kindergarten too. His reaction didn't disappoint.
This is what came to our car - they had face painted him during the day. I asked what he was and was told "I'm Mario, it's a Mario mustache Mom". Silly me for not knowing that.

My Little Princess is 4!
Time is just flying by way too quickly. I can not believe that my little Natalie turned four on May 30th. We celebrated her birthday at the Surrey House (the same place that Thomas and I had our wedding reception) with a "Birthday Tea Party". She was able to invite her friends from church and all her girl cousins (it was a girls only party, with the exception of her Dad and brothers). It was a really cute party, with a princess as the hostess. When the girls arrived the princess took them all down to a little house behind the main house called the "Princess Cottage". They all got to put on dress-up clothes, then the princess took them into another room. This room was filled with old dolls and the princess told stories about the dolls as the girls passed them around. After this, all the girls were taken to the Surrey and were able to climb on it and get their pictures taken. Once this was done, they went into the main house for games and then it was "tea time". They drank pink lemonade from real tea cups (I was a little worried about a bunch of 3 and 4 year old girls being trusted with real china cups, but they did GREAT. Not one broken.) and ate some finger foods. I had also made some tea cup cupcakes for the birthday cake. I think it was a lovely party for my lovely little girl!
