Halloween

 Princess Anna
 Natalie, my beautiful princess.

Rocket from Guardian of the Galaxy
Johnny always transforms into character.  It's really entertaining to watch.

The Grim Reaper
Ben said that he didn't want to go trick-or-treating this year.  The night before Halloween he changed his mind.  Ben and I had a late night trip to Walmart to find a costume and this is what we found.  He says it's the best costume he has ever had.  It was sorta spooky going around with him.  The red eyes would fade in and out.  He freaked out several people while trick-or-treating, most of which were adults.  Which I think is the reason he said he had so much fun this year.  :)

Natalie and Johnny have discovered photo bombing.

Johnny would sing the "Trick-or-Treat, Smell My Feet" song to everyone.  Then, as he was leaving, he would turn and lift up his hands, point at them and say "Thank you sooooo much!!"  It was really funny, he got giggles out of a lot of people.

Ben is checking out his loot.

I had to put reflectors on their backs this year.  Ben would have disappeared in the darkness without it.

Summer Fun! part one

Twilight Camp 2014
Johnny's first year and Ben's last year to attend.

Fourth of July Fun!

Ward Pancake Breakfast

(No pictures of Ben.  He was too cool to sit with us, he had to sit with his friends.)

Fireworks...so FUN!!  I think Thomas was more excited than the kids.

We celebrated Grandpa's birthday on the 4th.

Sparklers and Smoke Bombs
With all the smoke that we caused, I think the neighbors thought there was a fire.  We made sure with the police department that we were allowed to light these in their driveway, I just don't think they realized how many we were going to light at the same time, it was a little overwhelming, but the kids LOVED it :)

Schools Out for Summer!!

I am so grateful that it is summer once again!  My kids have had a wonderful year, with wonderful teachers, but I am just ready to have them home with me for awhile.
They are growing up way too fast.

Natalie had perfect attendance this year at school.  She was the only one in her class to achieve this and for an award her teacher gave her a minion stuffed animal.  It was their class mascot all year, his name is Banana.  Natalie hasn't let it leave her side since getting it yesterday.

This morning, before heading off to school.

Goof Balls!

Johnny won the "Jolly Rancher" award in his 2nd grade class.  The award is for being happy to learn every day.  On his report card his teacher wrote the following:

I wish all of my students worked as hard as Johnny does every day. He is such a positive student and I will miss his dedication and love of learning. Watching him learn something new or teach others about something he has learned is one of my favorite things about him.

I thought those were some pretty nice comments!
I couldn't be prouder of him, he is such a smart and all around great guy.

 Ben's 5th Grade Graduation

Ben getting his Certificate of Completion of Elementary School from his teacher Mr. Parkman.

Ben also received the President's Education Gold Award for Outstanding Academic Excellence.

This is Ben with all his awards from ALPHA (gifted and talented program).  He is one very smart and over achieving little man.

WATER BALLOON FIGHT!!

We were invited to participate in an end of school year water balloon fight, so FUN!
