Saturday Fun

We ventured out to North Park Mall for the opening of their Lego Store. They had a Lego build of Yoda, Ben and Johnny had fun building bricks for it. Natalie and I just went shopping. We were prepared after doing the Lego build at Stonbriar's store opening.

They had an R2D2 at the Mall. Just some cute pics of the boys with it. They were pretty excited to see him!

One of the stores had these Super Hero statues in it. Darth Vader was also there. Johnny was too scared to take his picture with him. Thomas said that he freaked out when he saw him (check out his facial expression in the picture of him with Batman, that's when he saw him) and his hands even got all sweaty. He really didn't like being around him. The last picture is him hiding behind the stroller while I took Thomas and Ben's picture.

GOGGLES!

They had goggles in the $1.00 bins at Target yesterday, so I let all the kiddos get some (and they also had orange water guns). They really had a lot of fun with them, however I soon realized why they were in the $1.00 bins. They really don't fit anyone's head very well. They kept pinching the skin between their eyes.

Swim Lessons

The boys started their swimming lessons on July 7th. They LOVE them. Here are some pics on their first day. I was able to get these two pictures, then my camera died. Just my luck! I am glad I at least got these. Ben is doing wonderful. Johnny is doing great too, but Johnny will be Johnny and has "slipped" into the water a couple of times when he wasn't suppose to. Watching him is like living through a 30 minute heart attack (his lessons are for 30 minutes). He is just so fearless and loves the water sooo much! On Thursday I had to run to the side of the pool and try to pull him out of the water because his teacher wasn't paying good attention to what the kids were doing. I think if he falls in again, I might have to take him out of the class and get him private lessons. I would hate to do this because he loves it so much, but it is way too stressful to keep watching your child almost drown twice a week.

My Cute Little Girl

Last Sunday I took these pictures of Natalie. She is always asking to have her picture taken after we get her ready for church. I kept telling her to say "I'm a princess" instead of say "cheese". It worked pretty well. I got a lot of cute ones. Natalie wanted her brothers to come take pictures with her, but they didn't want anything to do with it.

4th of July Pancake Breakfast

Just some cute pics of the kids at our ward's pancake breakfast on the 4th of July. We had a pancake breakfast then a bike parade. The kids really had a good time.

Zoo Trip

Just some fun photos of our trip to the Dallas Zoo today.

I'm NOT tired!

Just a funny picture of Ben the other day. He had just come out of his bedroom saying that he wasn't tired. Not two minutes had past when I went back to his room to check on him and make sure he was in bed. When I got there I found this. At first I thought that he was awake, because one of his eyes was open. Then I realized, as I was talking to him, that his eye kept wandering around - he was asleep. It was kind of freaky and funny all at once!

Ben and Brandon

Ben's Lego party was on June 23rd, the day before his birthday. His "best bud" who he likes to "hang" with, (that is what Ben tells me when I ask him about Brandon) Brandon was not able to come because both his parents were at work. Ben was really upset about it, so we told him that we would invite Brandon to go to Chuck E Cheese's with us on his real birthday, June 24th. They had a GREAT time. It was super fun to watch those two together.

Ben's Lego Birthday Party

Ben had his 6th birthday party at the Lego Store this year. It was an Indiana Jones theme and they all got their own Lego set to build. It was a lot of fun. Ben had been anxiously awaiting it for months. After they were all done building we went to the food court for Chick-Fil-A and cake. Happy, happy birthday to my little man!!

My Cutie Pies

The last two photos are them enjoying the Father's Day treat they got Thomas. Yummy!

June 4th - The Last Day of School

Ben (and I guess me too) made it through the first year of school. It was an adjustment for all of us, but he did a wonderful job and learned a ton this year. He is becoming such a "big" kid. His last day was fun for him. His teacher gave them all t-shirts on Field Day that said "Webb's Wild Bunch". She asked them to wear them so that everyone could sign each others shirts. Ben loved it!
