John and Natalie in their "Boats"

Natalie was playing with a laundry basket the other day and Johnny decided he needed a "boat" too. Johnny then told me that they needed to watch their movie in their "boats". They watched the entire movie in their "boats". I added the pillows, it didn't look too comfortable to me.

My Johnny

I just had to write down something that Johnny said to me last night. We had just finished giving baths and getting them dressed for bed when Johnny ran towards me saying "Mommy!!! I LOVE you!". I responded by telling him that I loved him too. He then wrapped one arm around my neck and said, with head tilted, "I love you too, ya wanta go on a date?" How cute is that! It feels good to know that your 2 year old would like to go on a date with you. He is such a sweetheart. I love my kids!

Ben On Picture Day

Ben had picture day several weeks ago at school. I took this picture the morning of picture day. I took several pictures and he kept closing his eyes. I showed him the pictures and told him to make sure to keep his eyes open when they took his picture at school. He responded to me by telling me he had a great idea on how to keep his eyes open. He told me to take another picture and he would show me what he would do. Above is his great idea. Pretty good huh. I told him that would certainly keep his eyes open, but I bet he could do it without using his hands. He said he would try - I'm anxiouly awaiting his school photos to see what they look like.

Johnny At The Dentist

Johnny had his second dentist appointment on Tuesday. I didn't get a photo of his first one six months ago, so I made sure to bring my camera with me this time. Once again, however he was too busy to take time for a photo. This was the only one he let me take. He did GREAT for the dentist. He is such an easy going guy - atleast most of the time!

Fun At The Dallas Arboretum

We had a fun morning at the Dallas Arboretum with Charlotte, Tyler and Aunt Melissa. Johnny was more interested in digging in the mud, picking up every twig or leaf he saw and yelling at Charlotte to "slow down" than getting his picture taken. This is the only one I got of him actually smiling at the camera.

We Met Darth Vader

We were lucky enough to see some of the Star Wars characters at the mall today. We have been looking forward to this for several weeks. Ben and Johnny were pretty quiet when they came upon Darth Vader - in fact Johnny wanted nothing to do with him! Natalie was probably the only one that didn't seem fazed by it all.

Sweet Natalie

This was before church. She was so pleased with her outfit. I asked her if she wanted me to take her picture and she started saying "cheese, cheese". I took that as a yes.
