Easter at Gran Lane's House

New Lego Star Wars Figures

Thomas gave the kids some new Lego Star Wars people and, needless to say they were very happy to get them. Just so you know, Natalie was making sound effects while her photo was taken.

Spring Break Zoo Trip

One of the fun things that we were able to do during spring break was to go to the Dallas Zoo. We were lucky enough to get to go with Nana Merrell, Aunt Jennifer and Ethan and Tristan. Everyone had a great time. It is fun to share adventures like this with family. It was Johnny and Natalie's first trip to a zoo and Ben's first trip that he can remember (he has been to the Fort Worth zoo a few times when he was two and younger). We are anxious to go again, we bought a membership so hopefully we will get to go a lot in the coming year!

My Little Cowboys and Jango Fett

Ben's kindergarten class just finished learning about Texas. So on the Fri. before spring break they all got to dress up in their western clothes. He even got to bring his stick horse to school for a "round-up" and a tin can to eat his snack around a "camp fire". He had lots of fun! So, of coarse in the morning I thought Johnny would want to dress-up too. He did last year and so I got all his cowboy stuff ready too. Natalie was excited about it all and so was Ben. But, when Johnny woke up and I told him, he responded by telling me "I'm not a cowboy I'm Jango Johnny", meaning Jango Fett from Star Wars. His backback that he is wearing in the photo is his "jet pack". I guess a lot can change in a year!

Wii with Ben

Natalie sure loves her brothers. She loves to watch Ben play the Wii and lately she wants to play with him. Ben, being the nice big brother that he is, will move her little chair next to his and give her a controller and they will "play" the Wii together. Natalie has just recently discovered that her remote doesn't actually work, but she still loves being able to play with Ben.

My Little Handy Helpers

A couple of Saturdays ago, Thomas found all the kiddos under the bunk beds "fixing" them. They were hard at work with their tools making sure that everything got done.

Hair Clips

I bought Natalie some barrette's for her hair the other day. The moment we got home she had to have ALL of them put in her hair. She was so pleased with her hair when they were all in. Silly girl!
