Weekend Full of Easter Fun

Easter afternoon we went to Grandma and Grandpa's house for Easter lunch and an egg hunt. Everyone had a wonderful time and the kids really enjoyed spending time with all of their cousins. It was an afternoon full of food, family and fun (like always, I'm sure I've said that before)!!!

Thank you to Uncle Scott for playing chess with Ben!! He really enjoys playing the game with you and you are such a great Uncle to spend that time and attention on him.

Easter Morning.....The Easter Bunny Came!!

Johnny wanted a picture with Newman on Easter, I thought it was kinda cute.

Saturday before Easter we went to Nana and Grandaddy's house to celebrate and have an egg hunt. It was a nice way to start our Easter weekend, with family and fun. The kids enjoyed seeing everyone and hunting for eggs. That is when we discovered that Natalie would only collect the pink eggs during the egg hunt (which she also did the next day at Grandma and Grandpa's). I didn't realize it until the hunt was over and went over and looked in her bucket. She didn't have many eggs, but they were all pink so she was happy. Ben's bucket was full to the top with eggs and poor Johnny was walking around saying that the hunt couldn't be over because his bucket wasn't full and that the egg hunt can't be over until he has enough eggs to make his bucket all full. Poor guy.

Silly Tyler

The last day of spring break I babysat Tyler so Melissa could take her older kids to a movie. He must of been tired, because he went to my bed and made himself comfortable. He even wanted a show on to watch. He and Natalie looked so funny lounging in the bed and watching their shows.

ZOO with Will

We went to the Zoo yesterday with Nana, Kayla, Will and Jack. All week Johnny kept asking "Is today the day we're going to the Zoo with Will and Nana?" He was really excited to get to go with them. They seemed to have a pretty good time and we couldn't have asked for a prettier day.

Bowling

A couple of weeks ago the kids got to go bowling for their cousin Ethan's birthday. It was their first time to go bowling and had a lot of fun. It was a little frustrating for Ben, though. He expected to be as good as at it as he is at Wii bowling and of coarse he wasn't. I had to tell him that we would go again soon, so that he could practice and get better. Thank you to Jen and Scott for such a fun time!!

"Mommy, I Just LOVE Those Mustaches!"

Yesterday, this little angel....

....decided to take a chunk out of Johnny's cheek.

Johnny didn't seem to mind until I told him that it was bleeding. Then he let me know that he HATES blood and that Natalie scratched a hole in his face!!! I cleaned it, put some ointment on it and a band-aid and off he went. Then he came back to me and said "Mommy, I really LOVE those mustaches, I just LOVE them!" I just looked at him as he was rubbing his band-aid. He then looked at me and said "Where's the other side?" I then realized he meant he needed another band-aid to complete his mustache. He wore it all day, 'cause he "just really loves those mustaches".

"I HAVE To Wear My Tutu!!!"

Last Friday, as I was trying to get everyone into the car to take Ben to school, Natalie came running towards me with her tutu in hand. She was yelling, "I have to wear my tutu and princess slippers, I have to!!" I tried to just put on her coat and get her into the car, but she was insistent on wearing them. Needless to say, she got a lot of attention at the school. She was pretty proud of how she looked. I think she started several people's Friday off with a smile.
